CLASS-LESS MUTTS
THE NEW YORK METS DID A HUGE INJUSTICE TO A CLASS ACT. NOT BY FIRING WILLIE RANDOLPH, BUT THE WAY THEY WENT ABOUT IT. LETTING HIM TWIST IN THE WIND FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS THEN AFTER WINNING 3 OF 4 THEY LET HIM GO. WILLIE RANDOLPH IS A WINNER AND 6-TIME WORLD CHAMPION. I GUESS THE TEAM THAT HAS NOT ONE ANYTHING IN 22 YEARS DOESN'T NEED A WINNER IN THEIR DUGOUT. ALL OF NY IS UPSET WITH THE WAY THE METS HANDLED THIS SITUATION. FROM CURRENT YANKEE PLAYERS WHO WILLIE COACHED TO FORMER YANKEE TEAM-MATES WHO HAVE SPOKEN ON WILLIE'S BEHALF. LET'S SEE IF THE NEW MANAGER CAN GET THESE BUMS TO PRODUCE. I WISH NOTHING BUT BAD LUCK ON THEM AS THEY DID A FORMER YANKEE GREAT, CLASS ACT AND WINNER A BIG WRONG. I WILL CLOSE IN SAYING BRING HIM HOME GEORGE.

the way los mets handled this actually makes james dolan look like a genius for the way he handles his teams....but what would you expect from a team that will always be second banana in the greatest city in the world?...i wish nothing but the best for willie and i hope he enjoys every penny of that 3 million those classless wilpons owe him
I have t agree they did it unprofessionally. But for those of you who think he should not have been fired you are sadly mistaken. Let me say this. I recall you both bigster, and the meter maid once saying "Mets fans should stop worrying about the Yanks" Well practice what you preach. There is only 1 reason you fools are talking, cause Willie was a Yankee. That did the Mets nothing as obviously he couldn't bring the winning way to Flushing. Lets not also forget his victories as a coach was as a bench coach. It pisses me off that all of a sudden you guys care about what the Mets do. Lets not forget how classless the Yanks did Billy Martin what 5 times? Now thats classless. The Yanks can have Willie back, and about the $$$$ the Yanks pay guys that haven't even suited up for the team. And as sports fans you should know, the mgr is always the 1st to go! So if you think your sports guys get with the program. For those who wish bad luck fine. As I always say Yankee fans are too biased to their own, and can't be fair and equitable. Lets not forget how classless Hank was with Joe, after all he won a handful of world series for them, Willie hasn't done anything but suffer 1 of the biggest collapses in baseball history. And 1 more thing meter maid...... LOS Mets is getting old. What about Yankees Beisbol?

You Yankee fans are funny, we all agree the firing was not handled right but who are you to talk about firing managers. Yogi Berra, how long did he stay away from the Bronx after he was fired after 16 games? Bucky Dent, purposely fired in Boston the scene of his greatest feat. Joe Torre, forced out after all his WS and 13 straight playoff appearances? Those guys were all winners with the Yankees, Willie was a winner but never won anything with the Mets. So relax there and worry about the Mighty Sox.

Not typical as I agree with my fellow Mets fan. My whole life as a Met fan I heard about the Yankees this and the Yankees that. My personal favorites were the bitching about the umps when they lost. Lets face it Yankee fans, there are a ton of papers in NY and you can't avoid seeing everything about each team. A true baseball fan would understand that, but as I am yet to be proven wrong, I am still yet to see a Yankee fan say it the way it is..... especially if it has to do with the Yankees
